Scott (Scoot McNairy, Narcos: Mexico), a gay poet, and his daughter Alysia (Nessa Dougherty, Emilia Jones), move from home to home in the early days of 1970s gay liberation through the harrowing AIDS crisis, finding their way together with humor and love despite the difficult times. FAIRYLAND, based on the memoir of Alysia Abbott is a poignant drama about an imperfect father, who loves his daughter but also wants to live a bohemian life and be free. As Alysia navigates her own life she discovers what her father really means to her. Directed by SQFF alumni Andrew Durham, with a wonderful ensemble cast including Geena Davis, Adam Lambert, Cody Fern, Ben Attal, and Oscar nominee Maria Bakalova.
