HERE ARE A FEW DETAILS to get you started:

  • You can watch TRANSLATIONS 2021 programming from anywhere in the world except for our features, which will be GEO-BLOCKED TO THE U.S. Zoom workshops available worldwide.

  • Once you buy a pass or tickets, starting May 6th you can start watching on the CineSend portal (watch.threedollarbillcinema.org). All films will be available for viewing May 6-9, 2021 (EXCEPT for NO ORDINARY MAN, which will expire on May 8th).

Please contribute at whatever level is appropriate for your means, with all proceeds benefiting Three Dollar Bill Cinema for future cost accessibility options throughout programming and festivals! No one will be turned away from our events for lack of funds, please contact maddy@threedollarbillcinema.org for more information about free access tickets.

We encourage community members who are experiencing economic freedom to consider contributing at a higher rate to create space for those in economic hardship.

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

How does the virtual festival work?

Think Netflix / Hulu (video on demand). All films will be available for viewing from May 6-9, 2021 throughout the UNITED STATES. Global viewers can watch our amazing shorts programs and live events! You can watch the entire program at your pace. We have a few suggested watch times that coincide with live Q&As with awesome filmmakers and other guests to give you a festival feeling. You can engage on Facebook Live to engage in the chat at the set time. Other events such as our free Zoom workshops, Opening and Closing Night Zoom parties with live DJs have set times and you will need a zoom link to enter which you will get when you either register or sign-up through our ticketing platform.

From what regions can I view the TRANSLATIONS?

The entirety of the program can be viewed throughout the United States. Viewers outside the U.S. can still catch our shorts programs and live events!

Can online screenings sell out?

They may. Just as with our in-cinema screenings, there are often capacity limits, established by film distributors and producers, that we are obliged to adhere to. So getting your tickets early or a pass is a good idea!

As soon as you become a member, you will have access to our special member pricing, or log in to Elevent if you are already a member and our specially priced member passes will show up! Support our TDBC year round and buy a membership today.
