ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility is incredibly important to us at Three Dollar Bill Cinema & TRANSlations: Seattle Trans Film Festival. If your accessibility needs are not addressed below, please reach out to our Programs and Operations Manager at maddy@threedollarbillcinema.org to ensure we make your festival experience the best it can be!
ALL OF OUR VIRTUAL FILMS ARE SUBTITLED OR CAPTIONED.
This means all films will at least have all dialogue captioned, and some will have both dialogue and sound captioned. Additionally, all of our virtual Zoom events will have live captioning.
ASL INTERPRETERS
We will have ASL interpreters for our in person day of screenings, and at our live Zoom events.
IN PERSON VENUE ACCESS
Check out Northwest Film Forum’s Sensory Access Document for detailed information on the accessibility of various spaces around the venue.
We are not able to guarantee a scent free space at this event. We will have scent free soaps in the bathrooms on the day of our event, and request attendees arrive without additional perfumes or scents.
The venue and theater we will be screening in are wheelchair accessible. We do have a limited number of wheelchair access seats based on the venue. If you are planning on coming to an in-person event in a wheelchair please contact maddy@threedollarbillcinema.org so we can make sure to reserve space for you.
SLIDING SCALE MODEL/NO ONE TURNED AWAY POLICY
We are offering a sliding scale pricing system for all of our events this year. This means you can choose the price you pay based on your financial situation. We ask those that are in a better financial position to pay higher on the scale to allow those who would be otherwise unable to attend our events to purchase lower priced tickets.
If you are still unable to afford the cost of our programs, please reach out to maddy@threedollarbillcinema.org so we can make sure you are still able to attend!
