If you are having trouble casting to your TV, we have found it works best to watch the pre-roll on your phone/tablet, start the film, and then cast to the TV monitor.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:
We want to keep everyone safe who decide that they would like to attend TRANSlations: Seattle Trans Film Festival in person.
Masks are mandatory in all indoor settings including our theaters and events. You may remove your mask while you are actively eating and drinking but we ask you to put it back on when you are finished.
Masking in high-risk settings helps to protect everyone, including those who are immune-suppressed.
I bought a virtual ticket or pass. How can I access virtual films?
Starting May 4th you can start watching on our watch portal (watch.threedollarbillcinema.org). All films will be available for viewing May 4-7, 2023
Once you start watching a film, you have 72 hours to finish it, even if you click play on your link on the last day!
TICKETS: You will receive an Order Confirmation email (with your payment receipt) from Elevent. If you purchase your ticket before the festival starts, you will receive a second email with a link to VIEW the film and a VOUCHER CODE on May 4. If you purchase your ticket once the festival has begun, this email will be sent right away. This link will take you to the TRANSlations watch portal where you will enter your voucher code. Click on PLAY when you are ready to start watching.
You will also be able to find your VIEW link and voucher code by logging into your Elevent account under your ORDER HISTORY.
PASSES: Your virtual pass is what gives you access to the screening portal. There are a few different ways to log into the screening portal:
Go directly to watch.threedollarbillcinema.org and sign in under Passholder Login using your Elevent account email and password (the same credentials you used to buy your pass)
Within your pass order confirmation email, click the Log In To the Screening Portal Here link
Log in to your Elevent account at goelevent.com and click the blue Login button under Virtual Subscriptions
If you were gifted a pass and haven't set up an Elevent account, please create an Elevent account under the email you were gifted your pass to access our watch portal.

What are the system requirements for virtual watching?
Compatible Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 7 or later, Apple Mac OS 10.12 or later, Chrome OS
Compatible Browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Safari (for Mac). We recommend using the latest version of your browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.
You can also watch films on Android tablets and phones using Chrome, and on iPhones and iPads using Safari.
How can I watch the films on a bigger screen?
Cast from a computer or Android phone/tablet using the Chrome browser to a Chromecast device
AirPlay from a computer, iPhone or iPad to an AppleTV (Gen 4 and above) or to any Smart TV bearing the “AirPlay” badge
If your screen is black turn off the screen mirroring setting and start AirPlay by selecting the AirPlay button in the bottom right-hand side of the player
HDMI: If you have a laptop or computer with an HDMI port, you can connect it directly to your television, using it as a second monitor. Connection details will depend on your setup, and you may need to reference the television’s manual to ensure it’s supported.
Can I watch on TV apps such as Roku or AppleTV? No, not this year. SQFF films are not available to view via TV apps such as Roku, AppleTV, or FireTV.
What happens if I forget my password?
Use the password reset option on the login page to reset your password. You will need access to the e-mail address you use to log in.
Why does video playback stall or not play smoothly?
We use adaptive bitrate streaming which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. If your internet connection is poor or inconsistent you may experience problems during playback. If you’re on wifi, try moving closer to your router.
