That’s why it comes as no surprise that it took more than three decades for his 1986 album, a collection of soul-searching and ethereal electronic melodies, to find the success and recognition it deserved. This emotional and inspiring documentary follows the unexpected journey of the 74-year-old Black trans musician as he embarks on tour around the world to connect with his audience and rediscover the purpose of his life and his career.
