Started as the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival in October 1996, TWIST has grown into the largest event of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, gaining industry and audience recognition for showcasing the latest and greatest in queer film, from major motion picture premieres to emerging talent. An important venue in the Seattle film scene—and the social event of the season—the festival provides unique opportunities for visiting and local filmmakers to engage and entertain over 10,000 attendees.

Three Dollar Bill Cinema returns to Capitol Hill's Cal Anderson Park with FREE outdoor movies! Your parents may warn you to not hang out with these unconventional misfits but see how much fun you'll have when you do! When parents say no, we say yes!

All screenings begin at sunset (around 8:30pm) at the SE corner of Cal Anderson Park. Arrive early to get a good seat and join us for the pre-show events. Concessions will be open and the DJ will start at 7pm. Official announcements and activities will begin at 8pm

All films will have subtitles. This is a smoke-free event. Bring low-backed chairs or blankets for seating, please. Hot popcorn, cold drinks, candy, and other concessions for sale on site. Limited lawnchair rentals available.
