Who We Are

This Club is where the magic happens!

Reel Queer Film Club is your year-round home for queer cinema and community. Membership connects you to monthly $3 movies, special screenings, events, gatherings, AND perks we’re cooking up with fellow art org friends. Our goal is to give you more opportunities to meet, connect, and celebrate queer film together throughout the year.

Helping our local queer film community thrive!

Reel Queer Fellowship is where queer filmmakers grow. Through fellowships, mentorship, and year-round educational events, we bring local filmmakers together to strengthen their craft, build their careers, expand their networks, and support our current generation of queer storytellers.

Stay tuned to our newsletters for ways you can join this community!

Supporting the next generation!

Reel Queer Youth is where the next generation of queer filmmakers gets started. Through hands-on summer programs, queer teens learn filmmaking, explore careers in the industry, build creative skills, and connect with other young storytellers in a welcoming, supportive environment.

We’re working to re-launch this exciting program in Summer 2027!

THREE DOLLAR BILL CINEMA is Seattle’s 30+-year-old queer film institution: celebrating LGBTQ+ media, uplifting the artists who create it, and connecting their work with the audiences who love it.

Some of our past programs were the Seattle Queer Film Festival and OUTdoor Cinema. We’re currently working to bring back our REEL Queer Youth and TRANSlations Film Festival programs.

We provide access to films that reflect the vast experiences and intersections that make up the fabric of our beautiful queer communities. We’re also a forum for LGBTQ+ filmmakers to share their work, connect with audiences, and spark meaningful conversation.

Through partnerships with local organizations, artists, and community leaders, we work to strengthen Seattle’s cultural ecosystem and create spaces where queer stories can thrive. We’re especially committed to uplifting local queer filmmakers: championing emerging voices, supporting artists at every stage of their journey, and helping connect our region’s storytellers with the audiences they deserve.

It’s our deep honor to serve as a bridge between filmmakers and audiences, and we hope you enjoy our many offerings throughout the year!
