Deep in Cambodia’s rural Kampong Chhnang province, 18-year-old trans man Lorn Srey Leak wants nothing more than to play soccer. Luckily for Leak, there is a local women’s under 21 football club. The Lotus Sports Club, led by trans man Pa Vann, is more than a football team, it’s a haven for the ten playerswho identify as queer, lesbian, or trans. Ultimately, nothing can stop the passing of time, and Leak ages out of the under 21 soccer club. Follow Leak as he makes the heartbreaking decision to move to Phnom Penh in search of money and hopefully, a better life.
