What if your soulmate is your best friend? If she’s a woman, what does that mean to a gay guy? When Todd, a mild-mannered twentysomething with OCD, meets Rory, an aspiring actress, their friendship turns into something more, as he questions whether he is really gay and what it means to fall in love with a woman. As their relationship progresses, Rory comes to realize that she needs more and Todd needs to find his own way as a gay man. With whip-smart dialogue, these two “lovebirds” explore what it actually means to be intellectually fluid in this smart and funny dramedy by director and star James Sweeney (BEFORE MIDNIGHT COWBOY, SQFF 2017).
