Set in the mid-’90s, this coming-of-age drama tells the story of Billie, a troublemaker from Manila, who finds herself exiled to remote San Isidro to live with her single aunt, the town’s religion teacher. Determined to change her ways and get through senior year without incident, Billie hides herself from the world—until she meets Emma, the ambitious star student who coaxes Billie out of her shell. They soon fall in love, but things get complicated when Emma discovers she’s pregnant. This exploration of the fleeting nature of love is written and directed by Samantha Lee, winner of the 2017 Emerging Talent Award at Outfest.
