Blanket Fort Films provides a vocational bridge to filmmakers 18+ who have aged out of youth programs and who wish to pursue filmmaking as a career.
No Dominion: The Ian Horvath Story celebrates the remarkable life and career of the late Ian Horvath who became a dancer, choreographer, director, and champion for the art of dance before losing a harrowing battle with AIDS. In a combination of archival footage, interviews, and a dramatic restaging of two of his choreographic works, this film seeks to reveal the creativity and the dedication that Ian offered the world.
Boys on the Inside focuses on a group of formerly incarcerated individuals speaking about the often silenced stories of prison culture and being gay inside, while addressing the complexities of institutionalization, addiction, gender expression, and living as an ex-felon in US society.
Inspired by the online series of “TED Talks”, JAKE was conceived to spotlight the voices of speakers and thought-leaders who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) that can intimately speak to the unique cultural experiences we celebrate as a community alongside our allies in an entertaining yet inspiring and accessible format.
