The deadline for Translations: The Seattle Transgender Film Festival is March 13, 2010.
The early deadline for The Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival is May 15, and final deadline is June 15.

The Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival is the largest LGBT arts event in the Pacific Northwest with over 10,000 attendees. Features and short films selected for our
15th annual festival are eligible for audience awards and juried cash prizes, and will receive plenty of attention from Seattle’s famously film-loving community.

The competition jury will select films from four categories to receive cash awards:
Best Feature Film, Best Documentary Film, Most Innovative Short Film, Best Short Film
Audience awards will be given for:
Favorite Narrative Feature, Favorite Documentary Feature, Favorite Gay Short Film, Favorite Lesbian Short Film, Favorite Local Film

Festival Exhibition Formats:
Preferred: 35mm, BetaSP, or DigiBeta
other possible formats: 16mm, DVD

The 15th Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival will take place October 15-24, 2010.

Translations provides the Pacific Northwest with a venue for the transgender community and allies to see films relating to trans experiences and identities. The films will express both traditional and nontraditional gender presentations. The festival accepts narrative, documentary, experimental, and animated films of any length. All work should be primarily created by, for, or about transgender people.
