The office romance genre gets a new twist when the world of high fashion is the scene of a burgeoning love between two career-driven women. The romantic comedy, A Luv Tale, directed by Sidra Smith and produced by Tisha Campbell-Martin of Martin fame, features two African-American professional women who unexpectedly find each other. Photographer Taylor James (Gina Ravera of Soul Food, Kiss the Girls, and Showgirls) woos fashion magazine editor Candice over wine and candlelight, but too much stress and a rocky 12-year relationship with her boss/boyfriend are holding Candice back. Meanwhile, Taylor's meddling best friend Aklia (played by rap star MC Lyte) tries to discourage her relationship with the older Montgomery. Will Candice finally ditch her worthless boyfriend? Will Taylor resist glamorous temptations? There is only one way to find out!

Winner of the audience favorite at last year's Outfest, Secrets stars Alfre Woodard, Robin Givens and Sheryl Lee Ralph as childhood friends who gather to celebrate a wedding. Joy turns into intrigue and deception with the revelation of a deadly secret.

Co-presented by Nu Black Arts West
