Boys and girls, welcome to the Queer School of Life. Today we will study the journey into love. Make sure your thinking caps are on. Let us begin.
Get out your map and head toward the desert in Life History of a Star, as we take you on a hot, hot ride through a dry, dry region. A twist on the classic education films of the 50s, Shame No More envisions a world where gay relationships are the norm and straight children must come out of the closet. You are not excused yet, class, until the mock filmstrip, Das Clown reveals the underworld of clowns gone bad and those who love them. For extra credit, consider the sound advice an FTM receives from a non-queer acquaintance in Straight Boy Lessons. Homework involves a study of Piglets (Ferkel), as two boys attempt man-love despite the interruptions of a pesky grandmother. You will be quizzed - any questions?
