The Brits are at it again, producing the very best of original queer TV! The latest series from Russell T. Davies, writer and creator of the original British QUEER AS FOLK, returns to Manchester for a twist on the classic girl-meets-boy romance. Gay teacher Bob and straight office-worker Rose meet after another disappointing night on the town. Before you can say "Babylon," they’re snogging on doorsteps, shagging in a train WC, and struggling to sort out the difference between true love and total disaster. Among the myriad of memorable supporting characters are Bob’s scheming best friend, his self-centered ex, and Rose’s raucous rabble of supportive (more or less) friends. Witty, gritty, and very gay, BOB & ROSE explores attitudes of queer identity and the universal search for love with a subtlety and sensitivity rarely seen on the small (or big) screen.
